You get what you ask for. You really do get what you asked for…problem is, we often have no idea what it is that we were really asking for and so when we get it, we are often confused, upset and quite miserable.

I remember specific moments long ago when I would draw close to God and within a short period of time, everything seemed to be against me. More problems appeared to arise than to go away. More arguments occurred and I could only imagine, at that time, that it was the devil trying to put a wedge between myself and God. I would fight to some degree, but sooner or later, I would fail and feel condemned and guilty and I would eventually distance myself from God. Having done that…things often improved…to some degree at least.

The thing that always upset me was how God could let such bad things occur when I was trying so hard to improve my life. I could only imagine a Zeus-like God, enjoying himself as I battled with the impossible wagers he and satan had made with my life. I could only imagine that the Old Testament version of an angry, jealous, bitter and vengeful God was true. Where was Jesus anyway? I kind of thought his purpose was to put God in a half-nelson for a few thousand years so that God would stop being so cruel to the people on earth.

Have you been in that place where you feel hopeless after having cried out? Have you quit trying some time afterwards because things appeared too difficult to pursue? Are you tired of not getting past your problems? Would you like to actually succeed at improving your life?

When you ask God to intervene in your life, consider first the truth in that you really don’t have to ask. He already wants so much to be invited into your life and he’s not waiting to be asked…he’s waiting to be allowed. Your free will brings him in or moves him out. By asking, you are really just opening yourself and inviting him in. The act of asking is really more an action of you dropping the barriers that are keeping him out.

No matter what you ask God for, help with finances, help with relationships, help with an illness…no matter what…the answer is always the same….”That is not your real problem. While you remain open to me and willing to change, I will help you with your real problem and then all these other problems will go away.”

The problem with our requests is that we are not seeing things clearly enough in this world to know what the best things to ask for are. It’s like we are driving down a wintery highway at night, window all covered with ice, and the snow is falling fast and furious. The fear of this experience can grip our hearts and make the trip a terrible one. This is how our lives really are. We are totally blinded about what is really around us and we are only seeing a few inches ahead at any time, and even then, it’s foggy, stormy and very fearful.

On the other hand, God is above the storm and the Holy Spirit sees things exactly as they are and he knows exactly what thing is best to occur to get you through the storm. His role is to do everything and anything that will draw you towards the light. He knows your heart, he knows what you are capable of and he knows exactly how to help you.

The first step to receiving real help is in surrendering the concept that you can somehow do this on your own, or that there is something you must do to fix it. The greatest of all things is to just be willing to change. Be willing to let God heal your mind so that you will see and experience things differently than you had before.

Having opened your heart to God and having asked for his help, the first thing he must do…before anything else can occur…is to pull out all the skeletons from your closet. In other words, he can’t help you with finances if there is greed in your life…he can’t help your body to be healed while you have hate or unforgiveness in your heart…he can’t help you find the perfect campanion in life while you are not honest with yourself. All these things, and thousands more, are blocking what you really need from God, so before he can answer the request you have made, he will bring circumstances into your life where the ugliest parts of you are exposed and/or brought into your awareness.

You may feel as though everything is going wrong…as though all is against you and that God has somehow become upset with you, but none of this is true to even the smallest degree. These circumstances are opportunities for change. There are cycles in our lives where we make the same mistakes over and over again. The sole purpose of these cycles is so we can eventually choose to react differently and make a better choice. These cycles are blessings of opportunity and when you choose differently…when you say “no” to something you’ve said yes to for years…when you choose not to shout back at somebody…when you see your fellow man as equals…when you share kindness and love where you shared anger before…when these things occur…you can be sure that you are on the road to real healing.

Whenever you break a cycle, a part of your mind is healed. The mind, or essence of your spirit, is the real you, not the body. The body, being just a projection of the mind, will change as the mind is healed. As with the crucifixion of Christ, he showed that the body can be destroyed, but not the spirit…and he showed that the spirit can even heal and bring back the body. With every healing, you become more loving, more peaceful, more patient, more wise and more joyful than you were before. With each cycle you break, your awareness of the world around you becomes clearer and you are less likely to start new cycles that are not good for you. Eventually, without angels descending…without thunder and without burning bushes, you will realize that your original request didn’t matter at all because it wasn’t the problem. The only problem was the distance that had grown between yourself and God.

You really never have to ask. Seek God first in all things spiritual and all the physical things of this world will work out perfectly for you. When you stop trying to do things to make change, you’ll learn that all change comes from being. The things you do will change as you be more loving and as you be more patient…so focus on what God would have you be and then do whatever feels best.

Still feel like asking God for help? He’s not looking to trip you. He’s not seeking to hurt you. He’s looking to provide you with the exact situations and circumstances necessary to draw you closer to him and improve every area of your life. The more open you become to him, the less likely it is that your life situations will have to be as dramatic to get your attention. So it’s in everyones best interests to be as open as possible at all times, because life just becomes much more pleasant and happy.

All things work together for good, because we all love the Lord…and even if you don’t know it of yourself, he does.

Your career, like any journey, has a beginning, an end and a
direction. For many people, the present direction of the
career is probably not a result of entirely their own
choices. If, for some reason, you are not happy with the
direction of your career, there is a way out: Take charge of
your career and change its direction.

1. Know yourself

Has it happened with you that after desperately looking for
something (e.g., keys) all over the place, you eventually
found it right in your pocket or drawer?

That’s exactly the case with finding a new career direction.
Usually, we try to search for a new career direction by
looking all around, for example, at hot jobs, emerging
fields, prestigious companies, friend’s career, what’s safe
and so on. Ironically, we fail to look for the answer where
it actually lies: inside us.

The secret of finding the right career direction is not to
look outside but to look inside. Know yourself and you will
automatically know the right direction for your career.

2. Dig deeper

Most people define themselves is terms of what they write in
their resumes. That’s just the tip of the iceberg. To really
know yourself, dig deeper and uncover your:

(a) Strengths
(b) Personality
(c) Values
(d) Interests

(a) Strengths

Your strength is what you do well and enjoy doing it. We
never fail to admire strengths in top athletes, painters,
writers, leaders but fail to ask “What is my strength?”

Strengths have a solid connection with a person’s career.
According to Peter Drucker, a person can only perform from
his strength. In other words, mediocrity is guaranteed if we
fail to use our strengths. So know your strengths and get
into a career that allows you to leverage your strengths to
the maximum.

Discover your strengths by asking:

- What am I good at and also enjoy doing?
- What makes me feel energized?
- What comes naturally and easily to me?

(b) Personality

Personality is the sum total of a person’s behavioral,
temperamental and emotional traits. For example, some people
are by nature extrovert and enjoy meeting other people. But
some people are born introvert and feel more comfortable
when left alone.

Studies show a direct link between a person’s personality
and his career. Indeed, if you are an extrovert person, you
would do well in roles such as sales, marketing, public
relations. But an introvert person would be better off in
roles that do not require public dealing.

To know your personality in detail and its implications on
your career, appear at personality tests such as Myers
Briggs Test Instrument (MBTI).

(c) Values

Values are what you consider important and valuable. Values
differ from person to person and can range from things like
money, prestige and power to more subtle things like
respect, harmony and independence.

Your values hint towards the kind of work that will suit
you. For example, if you value “achievement, “you would do
well in roles that regularly throw challenges at you.
Someone else, however, may value “helping others” and,
therefore, would do well in occupations that provide an
opportunity to serve others.

To know your values, ask yourself what is important to you,
make a list and prioritize the items. You can also use value
inventories on the Internet to identify your values.

(d) Interests

Should the work be interesting? Yes, for an important
reason: If your work arouses your interest, you are going
to do well. History shows that great achievers always pursued
what fascinated them. Akio Morita shunned the option of joining
the family business of sake brewing to pursue what he was
interested in: an electronics start-up. And he created Sony.

Doing the work that interests you can have a lasting impact
on your career. To uncover your interests, find out what
fascinates you and draws your attention.

Knowing your strengths, personality, values and interests is
like having a compass with its needle pointing towards the
right direction for your career.

Read that again. It doesn’t say “We like the things we’re good at,” though that’s true as well. No, it says we’re good at the things we like. That statement was made to me just today in reference to something I hate to do and am not very good at. I just nodded, thinking I’d heard it the other way around, or that my sister had said it backwards. Then she repeated it and said, “It works the other way around, too, but we’re good at the things we like.”

It’s true. If we like something we’re willing to put the time into it to learn how to do it, for starters. Such is true with my “hate to do,” search engine optimization. Books on SEO make my eyes glaze over. Listening to someone talk about how to do it makes my ears glaze over. I hate it. It’s not interesting to me, and I’m not good at it.

On the other hand, I’m great at making web sites. I used to do it for a living and still design my own sites most of the time when I’m developing a site for a business or my personal use. The first time I picked up a book on web design, nearly a decade ago now, I knew this was something I could do. I LIKED it. And I’m good at it.

I’m not saying you shouldn’t, or can’t, be good at things you don’t like. I don’t like putting away the dishes or changing the cat litter, though I’m good at both those things.

What I’m saying is if you hate something, and you’re not good at it, maybe it’s time to stop beating yourself upside the head and find a way around it. Hire someone to do it. Barter with someone to do ityou do something they hate and are not good at. Do something else instead. Or learn to like it and get good at it.

So the next time you’re doing something you hate, and feel you’re not doing a good job, remember it’s not your fault. We’re good at the things we like.

You wake up in the morning, and look outside the window and see what a beautiful day it is. You get up after a short while and put on the coffee. The early morning senses wake up to the great smell of coffee while you open up the windows to let some fresh air in. The radiance from the light of the sun beams in and reflects off the floor and the walls, illuminating the house.

Claimed lives in a recent accidentAll is usual and another day is here as 8 ‘o clock rolls around; time for work, hop in the car.

Meanwhile, another family receives a call for some firewood early in the morning. As it would strike the mind to be a good idea, the whole family plans to grab breakfast on the road and take a ride as a family to see how green the scenary got from last nights rain showers.

There’s no question about it, neither of the two parties even knew eachother, nor did they plan on dying that day. In a head-on collision on Highway 89 near Buffalo Run Road, just half a mile north of Chino Valley town limits, the gates of Hell opened as these lost people’s lives were claimed in the flames that broke out and consumed both vehicles and their occupants. To give you an idea of the spread of the flames, the license plates on both vehicles were devoured, making police investigation work even more difficult.

FirefighterDepicted in the image to the left is a firefighter desperately seeking for any last survivors being tormented in the flame he’s come face to face with. And yet you can see how easily the flame can take his life, by suffocation, by excessive temperature, or by consumption. To imagine Hell would be to multiply what this firefighter is enduring times 100 with ten billion more zeros behind that in degrees Celsius. If the human mind can comprehend such enormous temperature that not even the sun could be known to have, then that would only amount to a fraction of what it would be like in Hell.

Without a warning, without alert, the people who died in the flames of the accident only got a glimpse of the place they may have been going. The tragic part about it, is that there’s no escaping God’s perfect wrath when it’s too late. The Bible says in Hebrews 2:3 “How shall we escape, if we neglect so great a salvation…”

The truth of the matter is that it was their time to go, even when they had not planned on it…even if they didn’t want to. In Luke 12:20, God says “…thou fool, this night thy soul shall be required of thee: then whose shall those things be, which thou hast provided?”

Are you ready for eternity? Or are you going to wait until it’s too late and you find yourself burning, fueled by your gas tank and the load of wood your encounter is carrying? These people did. They lost their lives, and while the last flame was put out from their bodies by the Chino Valley Fire Department, had they known the Lord ahead of time, they would not have seen the flames of Hell which today consume their souls for all eternity.

The Bible says in Romans 6:23 “For the wages of sin is death but the gift of God is eternal life through Jesus Christ our Lord.”

If you would like to this obtain that eternal life, you must realize that you are a sinner, repent of your sin and ask Jesus Christ to come into your heart and save your soul from the eternal burning and flames of Hell. It’s that simple. Make the choice, do it now. The Bible says “Behold, now is the accepted time; behold, now is the day of salvation.” Don’t gamble with tomorrow, because it may never come. And for the unsuspecting lost person, tonight may not even be here.

Got your attention on that title. No apology, because Hell is drawing more and more like a magnet toward its rim of perpetual death. It is happening all around us and we apparently do not, or do not want to, see it. Perhaps in some innocuous way we have given a lazy mental assent learned from our ingrained doctrines of Death and Hell. But, our testimony in the meantime is not sure and not complete!

Oh, salvation is not the question, at least for the authentic Christian majority that have professed Yahshua as Lord and Savior. But the Life Yahshua sacrificed on the cross is meant for more than the gift of salvation. Instead it has unfortunately been diluted and polluted into a nefarious collection of high minded religious churches filled with deceitful doctrines full of idolatry, greed, and lust.

Please forgive me for such uncomplimentary statements. But, there are enough lies and delusions that have been set upon us all. We are being controlled and do not even know it. Controlled spiritually, soulfully, and naturally. Controlled by the Religious Pharisees that abound in numbers within the religious denominations. Controlled by the Doctrines of Devils we have given our itchy ears to. Controlled by such Teachers who have set their kingdomly dictates for all of us to stumble after in blind obedience, usually to our own hurt. Controlled by the ever so clever vises of our Enemy, Satan himself. Cloaked as a wolf in sheep’s clothing. Cloaked as an Angel of Light. Cloaked as the lying Prophets speaking out of their own spirits. Satan and all his demon host are drawing the religious church closer and closer to the darkened pit. He is frantically laughing all the way, for even Satan knows his time is limited and is only more determined to take as many souls as he can with him to the fiery depths of his destined chasm.

Yes, I am talking to Christians, about Christians! We know this World does belong to YaHWeH, our Elohim, and eventually it will all return to His absolute authority. But, to this date through all the generations past and into this Dispensation of Grace, YaHWeH has allowed Satan and his angels of darkness to have a powerful influence over all the inhabitants of this earth. Very easily seen is the degradation that has befallen us in a worldly sense. Plain as day and statistically verified the criminal activity worldwide in lawlessness on the streets and in the boardrooms has skyrocketed. We have only to look at America’s ever acclaimed and highly advertised ‘Sin City’ as a pitiful example of our own nationwide morality to boot. Las Vegas has been built upon the so called ‘9 deadly sins’ and is constantly praising itself as the vacation spot for all tourist and all Americans. Even now, our larger cities are opting for their ‘Gaming License’ in hopes it will help their ever failing revenues and draw more people into the cities to spend more money. Do I dare even ask how many Christians support such activities? This example is but a worldly advocate of lust and greed. We understand the worldly population carousing in such exploits of idolatry, and pointly shake our judgmental finger at them. But to be in godly righteousness we must also turn that finger-pointing toward ourselves.

Idolatry, greed, and lust come in many Christian Religious forms as well, but not as easily discerned. Yes, cleverly disguised, but grievously still there. It seems the new church walls cannot contain the overflowing crowds lately. Men, women and children muscle their way into these religious forums, after coming through a week of game playing out in the world. Please, I know many God fearing church members also, who are right along side the rest. But, this is addressing the percentages within the crowd that claim the so called Christian title, without the revelation of Yahshua’s reality and the Kingdom of YaHWeH in their heart. Too many in the church masses are mortgaged over their head, not once but two or three times; insured to the hilt to prevent any calamity of nature, credit card debts that would make a hamster on its running wheel look sane, supporting lifestyles that produce more ulcers and headaches in the long run with dysfunctional families that cannot communicate. Sickness, disease, and oppression abound into worldly bondage’s that plague the heart and soul unto a living death. But, all these great church services are available for them. Most church services perform two and three times on Sunday morning not to forget the evening meetings, plus the mid week services all to alleviate the pressing consciousness of good and evil. Each of these services are faithfully geared toward the uplifting of its pew people along with many support ministries within house for the extended care designated to these ailing Christians. Tapes abound, books abound, seminars abound, retreats, specialized prayer meetings, plays, dinners, luncheons, picnics, carnivals, bingo, rummage sales, secret sister societies, brotherhood meetings…please continue and add your own list. My, my, my. All centered of coarse around worship, praise and the Word.

Can we take a breath here? When all is said and done and performed, through Sunday to Saturday, is there any real time left for YaHWeH, our Elohim? Is there any time left to spend by ourselves on our knees or personal quiet time by ourselves, little-less with Elohim? No outside interference, no preachers, no teachers, no tapes, no worship music, no nothing; but you and YaHWeH, our Elohim. No inside interference, no mental strategies, no motives, no personal give me plans; no nothing, but your heart and soul moved toward Elohim.

What a novel idea. What a universal eternal truth. What a revelation. Is this what it takes? A revelation? Do we not read the scriptures ourselves to know that our YaHWeh, our Elohim is seeking all over the Earth for the ones who will worship Him in spirit and in truth? (John 4:24) Have we learned nothing in our spiritual venture? Or has it just been another self fulfillment plan, fueled by the covert strategies of our Enemy? Our own Enemy in house. In our churches, in our homes, in our private affairs. Using our spiritual weakness and our pride of life against us. Using our lack of discipline and influencing our hearts to wander away from YaHWeH. For even Satan knows religious activities can keep us away from the Truth. The hidden truth that is of Elohim. The private Truths that can only come from His Spirit to your spirit.

In the great measureless wisdom of Elohim, we can rest assured that nothing in this day and age that we live in is new or unexpected. In and through everything known and unknown, is the Spirit of Elohim. Our YaHWeH is beyond our magnitude of comprehension, but yet very near and approachable. In such vast simplicity full of order and purity Elohim still enables mankind to know Him. Through it all! But the time has come to stand up and take account and accountability of what we know and who we know. Very, very, personally. An personal assessment inside and a personal assessment outside. Exactly what do you want to be accountable for. Exactly what do you want to be accountable to. Our own words condemn us and our own words give account of our spirit. Yes, from faith to faith, but all in personal accountability with YaHWeH. We do know ourselves better than anyone else, beside YaHWeH. The time is at hand and our own houses have to be in order, spiritually, mentally, and naturally. The call has already been issued, and the final warning trumpets are blowing. Are we hearing them? Are you hearing them? Soon it will be too late. Soon the warning trumpets will stop. Soon the last grain of sand will empty from the hour glass. Then what dear brethren? Are any of us really prepared to meet YaHWeH face to face and give an account of our life; and then have to face up to the account of our life? Scripture gives an exact account of this.

Once again, the warning trumpet is blowing! Let’s heed the sound of its alarm. Let’s turn our houses upside down and inside out. Let’s allow the spirit of Yahshua to run through our temples with a whip and scourge. Let’s not settle for any form of idolatry, greed, or lust in our own temples, our households, nor our churches. It’s enough! Let’s start judging our own self and our own life. Let’s not offer lip service to Elohim and then go back into our lives full of all the Enemy’s delusions. It’s high time and well past the time that the house of YaHWeH be called a house of prayer. Let it begin inside of us as His temples and inside of our homes and our worship places. Demand more out of yourself, more out of your household, more out of your church. We have much to be accountable toward. Are you ready to meet such a challenge for yourself and set your own house in order. Are you stirred in your inner being enough to do something about it yet? Get …mad… AT… Hell… and… DO NOT… Take… It… Anymore…!
