Hayling island is an island off the south coast of england, in the borough of havant in the county of hampshire. It is twinned with gorron, mayenne, france. A single bridge connects its northern end to the mainland of great britain.
A tiny passenger ferry connects it on the neighbouring island of portsea where the city of portsmouth is located. Towards the west is langstone harbour and on the east is chichester harbour. The seashore at hayling is sandy and until latest decades it had been manually filled up with gravel and pebbles to lower seaside erosion. At low tide, the west winnner sandbank is noticeable, extending a mile out to sea. The coastline in this spot has substantially changed given that roman times, it is believed considerably land is lost from the sandy coasts of hayling and selsey by erosion.Hayling island may be the premier wildlife spot in the world, easily beats ecuador into second location, is bathed in glorious sunshine on average 350 days year. Furthermore, although quito claims to be the centre of the earth, situated at degrees - - the authentic epicentre is sunny hayling isle. *** why any naturalist could ever consider living everywhere else ranks with quantum mechanics as just one from the mysteries of the age. Stunning seascapes which surround the coastline, ensures that hayling retains top spot of most desirable position to reside within the universe’. We are contentedly nestled involving farlington marshes for the west, acclaimed as the perfect nature reserve for the south coast, and towards east, we have chichester/selsey/pagham harbours, comprising 100 miles of scenic walks.
Hayling island is a true island accessed from the north by the hayling bridge and from the west by the hayling passenger ferry that also accepts pedal cycles. The town of hayling island contains the villages of east and west hayling and lies within the portsmouth and se hampsire area and is under havant borough council. Hayling island offers oustanding “blue flag” awarded beaches in a natural environment with extensive flora and fauna and it is a delightful place to relax and unwind. However, it is just a short ferry ride away from southea to the west. Windsurfing, tourism and leisure activities are hayling’s principal assets with tourism generating £50 million of income to the borough over a good summer. The hayling billy trail along the west of the island is one of the attractive routes enjoyed by walkers and cyclists. There are 100 acreas of grassy dunes and gorse providing an ideal location for picnics between the sea front road in the south and the beaches. This area inclues areas of special scientific interest.

Mathematics is unerring. As a child we are taught that 2 + 2 = 4. This will never change and will always yield the same results; except when it comes to calculating you phone bill.
Most long distance carriers advertise their low rate per minute costs. However, before you can really make an informed decision as to which carrier offers the best value you need to consider all of the “other” costs that may be buried in the fine print. Read all of the restrictions and costs in detail then analyze these “added” costs against your specific calling habits. Only then will 2 + 2 truly equal 4.
For instance, many carriers will charge a monthly fee in order for you to qualify for their low rate per minute charge; while other carriers will impose a minimum monthly usage charges. If you fail to reach this minimum usage then you are charged added costs.
The key to getting the overall best value on your long distance is to review your monthly statements and analyze your calling habits. The key things to look for are the total number of minutes, call duration, for all of your long distance calls. Does this number change every month or is it more or less constant? Is there a particular state or states that you call more often than others?
Once you have this information at hand you then make detailed calculations to determine the true cost per minute of various calling plans. You need to be able to take the additional charges (monthly fee, minimums and so forth) and divide it by your usage (total number of minutes) then add that to your rate per minute. Only then will you have a true cost per minute of your long distance carrier or analyze the various plans from other carriers.
Let’s take a look at some examples and you’ll get a better feel for what I am saying. Here are three plans (”A”, “B” and “C”) for comparison with three different individuals:
Plan “A” - $0.04/minute, plus monthly fee of $5.95;
Plan “B” - $50.00 for 1200 minutes, plus $.07/minute over the 1200 minutes; and
Plan “C” - $0.10/minute with no other fees.
Now let’s look at three different users and determine which plan provides the best value.
Tania: Tania’s total annual long distance usage was 14,400 minutes, averaging 1200 minutes per month. However, her usage was not consistent with some months as low as 600 minutes and other months as much as 1,800 minutes. In her case we can calculate the three plans this way:
Plan “A”
600 min. months: ($.04 x 600) + $5.95 = $29.95
1,800 min. months: ($.04 x 1800) + $5.95 = $77.95
Her total bill for the year: (6 x $29.95) + (6 x $77.95) = $647.40
Total cost per minute: $647.40 / 14,400 = $.045/minute
Plan B
600 min. months: $50.00
1800 min. months: $50.00 + ((1800 / 1200) x $.07) = $92.00
Her total bill for the year: (6 x $50.00) + (6 x $92.00) = $852.00
Total cost per minute: $852.00 / 14,400 = $.059/minute
Plan C
600 minute month: 600 x $.09 = $54.00
1800 minute month: 1800 x $.09 = $162.00
Her total bill for the year: (6 x $54.00) + 6 x $162.00) = $1,296.00
Total cost per minute: $1,296.00 / 14,400 = $.090/minute
Clearly in Tania’s case plan “A” would be the best value for her money.
Chuck
Chuck also uses the same 14,400 minutes of long distance but his monthly average of 1,200 minutes is very consistent month after month. In his case we can calculate the three plans as follows:
Plan “A”
Each month: ($.04 x 1200) + 5.95 = $53.95
His total bill for the year: 12 x $53.95 = $647.40
Total cost per minute: $647.00 / 14,400 = $.045/minute
Plan “B”
Each month: $50.00
His total bill for the year: 12 x $50.00 = $600.00
Total cost per minute: $600.00 / 14,400 = $.042/minute
Plan “C”
Each month: 1200 x $.09 = $108.00
His total bill for the year: 12 x $108.00 = $1,296.00
Total cost per minute: $1,296.00 / 14,400 = $.090/minute
Clearly in Chuck’s case plan “b” would be the best value for his money.
John
John, on the other hand, used very little long distance every month. His total usage was only 1,200 minutes for the year and a consistent average of 100 minutes per month. In this case we can calculate the three plans in the following manner:
Plan “A”
Each month: ($.04 x 100) + $5.95 = $9.95
His total bill for the year: 12 x $9.95 = $119.40
Total cost per minute: $119.40 / 1200 = $.099/minute
Plan “B”
Each month: $50.00
His total bill for the year: 12 x $50.00 = $600.00
Total cost per minute: $600.00 / 1200 = $.50/minute
Plan “C”
Each month: 100 x $.09 = $90.00
His total bill for the year: 12 x $9.00 = $108.00
Total cost per minute: $108.00 / 1,200 = $.09/minute
Clearly in John’s case the best value is plan “C”.
So, here we looked at three different people and their calling habits looking at the same three calling plans with each one selecting a different plan for the best value. In order for you to get the best value out of any calling plan is to know your own specific telephone calling habits. Take the time to analyze your calling habits and you will be able to save money and get the best value for your money.
Thanks for reading… I hope it has given you something to ponder.

With affinity marketer Trilegiant’s strong performance, inclusion in Forbes’ List of Top Private Companies and its acquisition of a prestigious ISO 27001 certification for its information security services, it must be quite a view from the top for CEO Nathaniel Lipman.
Nathaniel Lipman, President and CEO of Affinion Group, a global affinity marketing group composed of subsidiaries Trilegiant Corp., Trilegiant Corporation, Progeny Marketing Innovations and Trilegiant Loyalty Solutions, has had a fruitful career in consumer brand development and entertainment before he became a part of then Cendant Marketing Group (forerunner of Trilegiant) in 1999.
Lipman served as the Senior Executive Vice President for Planet Hollywood International from 1996 to 1999. Before this post, he was Senior Vice President and General Counsel of House of Blues Entertainment, Inc. He also previously served a legal post at The Walt Disney Company and Skadden, Arps, Slate, Meagher and Flom.
The opportunity to pursue a career in marketing came to Lipman when he joined Cendant’s Alliance and Marketing Division as Senior Vice President for Business Development and Strategic Planning. From 2001 to 2002, he became Senior Executive Vice President of Trilegiant before becoming CEO of Cendant Marketing Group in 2004. In 2002, he became President and CEO of Trilegiant Corp., before the latter became a subsidiary of Affinion Group in 2005.

What is it?
Astigmatism takes place when the front part of the eye, properly termed the cornea, is not a uniform even global shape. Alternatively, its form is rather similar to that of the back of a spoon - longer in one fashion than another. Due to the fact that the cornea is an wavy form, the eye can’t focus light passing through it sharply on to the back of the eye or retina. So vision is obscured at all distances.
What causes it?
As the eye develops in the womb, several factors determine the shape of it, including transmitted genetic factors and surroundings. It would seem that these factors can lead to an wavy curve of the cornea, although the exact cause isn’t known.
Who’s affected?
Actually most of us have an astigmatism - but generally it is very mild
Astigmatism is not unusual and is usually present when a person is born. Most people have a unimportant astigmatism - it’s rare for the cornea to have formed in a perfectly symmetrical mode. But in mild cases, the eye can adjust to focus light adequately.
In many examples of astigmatism the individual also has accompanied optical problems like short-sightedness or long-sightedness. Two-thirds of people with short-sightedness also have significant astigmatism.
What are the symptoms?
In severe astigmatism, vision is fuzzy or distorted whether the person is reading close up or looking further into the distance.
In milder cases the person may complain their vision is obscure at certain distances, that they’ve tired or dry eyes, that it’s a struggle to focus or read, or that they’ve headaches, especially when trying to focus.
How is it diagnosed?
Astigmatism should be diagnosed by a certified optometrist, ophthalmic surgeon or eye specialist. A good optometric examination should be done to assess the degree and extent of the problem.
Small children, who mightn’t be able to deal with the optometrist’s interrogations about what they can see, can be assessed using a test called retinoscopy that involves reflected light.
What’s the treatment?
Most of the time, Using contact lenses or glasses, which have been bespokely designed, you can sort out most cases of astigmatism.
If the astigmatism isn’t too bad, it may not require treatment at all - unless of course it is critical to your work that you have perfect vision or that you are likely to tire, in which case a mild astigmatism may become more severe.
There are instances when you will be able to surgically correct your astigmatism using a technique termed refractive surgery.
Some may choose laser surgery. Try to obtain a balanced view about how good or dangerous laser surgery may be by speaking to your surgeon first.

It was common to have white sheets in everybodys bedroom quite some time back. today you find so much diversity in these bedding that it becomes hard to choose. The latest bed sheets are available in irresistible prints and colourings that change the look of your bedroom
That is why there are some matters that need to be taken care of before you drop any money on buying bedding.
Take the beds measurements
You might think that all twin beds or king sizing beds are standard, but sadly it is not so. Usually the top measurings dont differ a lot but the other proportions vary with each bed maker. So make sure that you estimate all the measurements of your bed from top to bottom, side to side and also the thickness of the mattress you are using. Often similar beds from the same brand are longer or wider than each other. When you have your beds proportions with you, choosing a bed sheet is easier.
Zero down on the Bed storehouse
You will find a lot of top names in bed linen available in a departmental storehouse near you. Those looking for embroidered bed sheets or luxurious looking sheets can buy them from a specialty shop. If you still cannot find what you want, try the online storehouses. The basic bedding are sold in discount shops for a small cost.
Learn about the thread count of bedding
A thread count represents the count of threads consisted in one square inch of a sheet in both weaving directions. This count is mentioned on the label of the bed sheet itself. More the thread count, more is the richness of the fabric. Dont go for a higher thread count than preferable as the thin single threads will not feel comfortable. A soft bed sheet has a thread count that lies between 175 and 250.
Choose the bed sheet fabric.
You need to choose such material for your which fits in your budget and is comfortable at the same time. Though cotton is the most preferred material, some people go for the cotton blends as they do not crease. A crisp night calls for a flannel bed sheet. For a lavish look, go for satin, silk or microfiber.
Bed sheet Care
Read the wash and care instructions for the sheets properly before purchasing them. Silk bed sheets are stunning and romantic, but they need a weekly dry cleaning job. Are you ready to do that? Hence choose a bedsheet that you can afford and require less maintenance.
These little tips will surely help you in choosing the right bed sheet for you and make every night a night to remember!

It’s time to work hard at gardening this time of year. We only have a few months to get everything planted and harvested in my part of the world.
I am soooo tired (drinks some energy drink)…ok, now that I’m awake enough to share a few things with you about the season - here you go:
Cultivators
What would you do with 10 cultivator choices… You can choose any type of tiller as long as it feels right and is good for your soil. Transporting a tiller can be expensive but prices are cheap online. What I found for a total rototiller resource is the Rototiller Store. Information is easy to read and use from the Rototiller Store. Time to go survey these rototillers. The right tiller for you is at this store - don’t forget to check out the super cheap shipping for most of these rototillers. Cheaper than buying in a store.
New MLM
Check it out…this definitely should be here. Income diversification is one of the secrets to wealth. And I needed some crazy energy to get off my lazy butt to till the garden this year. Do you like to try things before you buy? I do too. I can’t believe how good and energized I felt after drinking this. Crashing isn’t part of this energy drink’s vocabulary. It lasts a loooong time. A low cal energy drink without suguar…I can’t believe it. Everybody should go check out efusjon at Startup4Less - I recommend running with the ‘A’ team because they are showing a ton of promise for the income side of things. I haven’t ever seen anything like this. I normally don’t push an opportunity but I have to say that I joined earlier this week and you should too. Energy!
Splitter Maintenance
Storing a big machine like a splitter can be tough. Clean your splitter and store it in a dry place is the best for upkeep. Long lasting equipment is prepped for storage. Log Splitter Sale is the best place I found for purchasing a good splitter. You can find almost any and all types of wood splitters on the market and their prices and info on this website. Low prices, good info, can’t beat that.
Copacetic! Those were my choices for the week.
